What a wonderful weekend! Our second year of the Ipswich Town Art Trail was a success, thanks to all the venues, hosts, volunteers, sponsors and the coordinating team behind it all. We couldn't have done it without you! Everyone who visited says they enjoyed the variety of venues, the variety of artworks, and the chance to watch, or even have a go at some of the different art techniques. We are all happy it went so well, and are now taking a well deserved break for a few week
We are excited to invite you to explore the artworks of Ipswich artists, who will be showcasing their creations, demonstrating their skills, and hosting drop-in workshops suitable for all ages. This year's HUB is in the BUTTERMARKET, in the town centre. There you will find the FREE art trail map leaflet, artworks, artists demonstrating and child-friendly activities. The Art Trail covers some of this but there are other ways to be connected and celebrate our creativity. There are so many positive aspects of being part of an art community. We know there is a need for it too, because we often work alone. While we may enjoy working independently, we are also social beings. Coming together around our shared interests can be uplifting and inspiring. The opportunities we create together can help us share our talents with the wider community, and we can learn so much from each other too.
